Tom HartbeckTom joined Live Stream STL in summer 2020. He is currently the Radio voice of Maryville University Men’s Hockey and Troy Buchanan High basketball on KYRO 1280AM, where he heads their sports department. During the fall, Tom is the online voice of Fort Zumwalt North Panther football. A graduate of Lindenwood University, Tom was also the voice of several sports on 89.1 The Wood before graduating in 2019. His experience in broadcasting dates back to his time at CBC High School where he founded their broadcast stream, Cadet Student Network Broadcasting, and voiced the renowned Cadet hockey program.

Joining Live Stream STL came by chance, when a fellow broadcaster friend of his couldn’t make a game. “I was offered to fill in for a set of baseball games down in Charleston MO. I had done a lot of internet streaming work, but once I saw the set up Live Stream STL used I was REALLY surprised. Streams have struggles with just a laptop and camera but when I saw iPhone and iPads used to get a multi camera angle, the graphics package, and going out over several outlets, it was pretty clear there wasn’t anything quite like this being put out in the area. Ray certainly does things differently and gets a huge result with such a small footprint.”

Tom calls O’Fallon, Missouri home. When not calling games, he enjoys Blues music, Scotch, and BBQ. Or looking for his next gig.
